2011

River Tone - Harpford - As a stretch of water the club owns we chose this to be the pilot project using an external expert to produce a project plan, manage the project and undertake some of the work. The intention is that we will be able use this as a template for future projects, both by having a standard project proposal that we can use for approaching the EA for funding and by learning some of the techniques used in habitat improvement.

Currently On Hold Unfortunately we ran into problems with one of the landowners and have not yet been able to successfully negotiate access or his agreement to the work taking place. This is currently on hold. The investment (minimal) in the production of the documentation is however, still a justified and worthwhile exercise in guiding us towards future projects.

2010

Hillfarrance Brook - The club undertook much overdue major bank clearing work on the stretch of the Brook above the road. To achieve this we paid contractors to do the work. Hopefully you will all notice and appreciate the improvement.
